The beauty of colonial Léon, Nicaragua

Léon, with its population roughly over 200 000, is the second largest city of Nicaragua. It used to be the capital, but since that created some tension between Léon and Granada, another important Nicaraguan city, it was decided to move the capital to the neutral Managua. Léon was founded by the Spanish, and as such it can pride itself with beautiful colonial architecture.
